Cookie Policy
fastart.tech uses cookies and similar technologies. This policy lists every category we may set, what each does, and how to control them.
When you first visit, our consent banner asks whether you accept analytics. Essential cookies are required for the site to work and are set without consent (the legal basis is necessity).
This is a templated draft. It will be reviewed by retained legal counsel before public launch and updated as the analytics and reCAPTCHA wiring lands.
Essential (always on)
NEXT_LOCALE — stores your language preference. Set by next-intl. First-party. Persists ~1 year.
fastart-cookie-consent — stores your cookie consent record. First-party. Persists ~12 months.
Anti-CSRF tokens — short-lived per session.
Analytics (only with consent)
Plausible — privacy-first, cookieless web analytics. No identifiers are stored on your device. We use this even without consent for aggregate visit counts; opt out by setting Do Not Track in your browser.
PostHog — event-level analytics for product funnel measurement. First-party domain. Loaded only after you accept analytics in the consent banner.
Marketing
We do not currently use marketing cookies. The consent banner reserves the toggle for the future, but it remains off by default.
Third-party services that may set cookies
reCAPTCHA — set on contact form pages. Required for spam protection. Google's privacy policy applies.
Managing your preferences
You can manage cookies through the consent banner when it is shown. Browser settings also let you block or delete cookies, but doing so may break essential site functionality.
Updates
Whenever we add, remove, or change a cookie, this policy is updated and the date above changes.
